Dear Sirs, Several weeks ago I bought a 123 Ignition distributor for Fiat Twin Cam engines with a reccomended coil. Product number: 123FIAT-TC-4-A-V I made an installation and adjust my distributor already on my engine. I have a question about a temperature range of work this distributor. The place for distributor assembly is a very close to exhaust manifold. The temperature is very hot in this place. Today I driven more than 30 kilometers very slow and after a trip I checked the distributor temperature. My thermometer shown me 87 degrees. My exhaust manifold was wrapped a thermal tape, but the temperature is still very hot. Can You tell me, my distributor is safe or not? In manual I found an information: Temperature -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. Is this true or not? What can I do for a safe my distributor? Please for suggestions and reply. Thank You, Blazej Mosiolek.

Dear Mr. Mosiolek, Sorry for this late answer. The electronics can withstand higher temperatures than specified. However, if you can get a little airflow, the electronics will thank you for it. Best regards, Leen, 123ignitionshop.com & Leen APK
