123/GB-4-R for 4 cylincder Lucas distributor
The 123/GB-4-R replaces most Lucas-distributors for engines in British (hence 'GB') cars, with a 4 cylinder engine (negative ground only).

The unit offers 16 different advance-curves, which can be selected by means of a small switch. This is a great feature to easily fine-tune your engine!

Please note the following about the 123/GB-4-R
We strongly advise you to check the dimensions of the 123/GB with the original distributor. The 123/GB-4-R is a 123ignition that hasn’t vacuum advance. If you do need vacuum advance, you can order the 123/GB-4-R-V (WITH vacuum advance).
Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.
Coils and spark plugs
Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never overheat again in the future. We recommend the 123 Blue Coil.

Incredible! Fitted like a glove into my 1931 Citroen C4. The car started without problem and runs well. I had to make a new hold down bracket, but that wasn`t difficult. 5 stars!
montage bij MGA
het vervangen van de verdeler is gemakkelijk te doen.
wel opletten dat de verdeler me de kabeuitvoer naar boven wordt gemonteerd, anders kan de ontsteking niet op tijd gezet worden.
de keuzeschakelaar staat op 5.
het starten van de motor gaat veel gemakkelijker, de motor loopt mooi rond.
blij dat ik het gedaan heb.
