123/GB-6-R for 6 cylincder Lucas distributor (without vacuum)

The 123/GB-6-R distributor replaces most Lucas-distributors for 6 cylinder engines

The unit offers 16 different advance-curves, which can be selected by means of a small switch. This is a great feature to easily fine-tune your engine!

Features of the 123ignition 123/GB-6-R electronic ignition

The ignition is further equipped with:

- Automatic dwell
- Automatic power-cut after 1 second
- Gear shift retard

Please note the following about the 123/GB-6-R

We strongly advise you to check the dimensions of the 123/GB with the original distributor.
The 123/GB-6-R is a 123ignition that does not have vacuum advance. If you do need vacuum advance, you can order the 123/GB-6-R-V (WITH vacuum advance).

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.

Coils and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never overheat again in the future. We recommend the 123 Red Coil.
