123/EVO

The 123/EVO electronic ignition can be used in 2CV and VISA engines

The 123/EVO replaces the former 123/BLUE and is a further development (123/EVOLUTIF).

Features of the 123/EVO 123ignition

The unit offers many different advance curves, 5 for optimization with regular fuel, 5 for optimization with LPG/ethanol and 5 'standard'-curves as prescribed by Citroën for ALL two cylinder engines, inclusive VISA-engines-curves.

The 123/EVO also offers:
- Vacuum-advance
- Warm-up-advance
- Overheat-retard
- Dwell-balancing
- Current-time-out
- Idle-speed-control

Please note the following about the 123/EVO

To use the 123/EVO in combination with a Visa motor you will need to make an adjustment. Leen APK/123ignitionshop has designed an adaptor to make this adjustment.

You'll need to make a modification to connect the vacuum hose. Parts to do so are included with the 123/EVO.

Coil and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with mistrust since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition System will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in the future. The new developed high efficiency coil is perfect tos use with the 123/EVO.

Perhaps you will also need new spark plugs? For the Visa engine you can use these spark plugs.
