Since these cars are becoming quite rare, the manufacturer has chosen to offer a product that contains all the necessary curves, but which you have to make a small adjustment to yourself before you can mount the ignition.
You need to transfer the gear from the original ignition to the 123 ignition. This ignition fits in the engine with number 818540. Please check the dimensions to be sure! It does not matter that the lower part of the handle is 27 mm thick.
All 7 necessary ignition curves for the Fulvia 1,2 and 3 and the Flavia 1,2 and 3, are programmed and that for the price of one! The correct ignition curve is set by turning a switch on the side of the housing to the correct position. Ready!
The ignition is equipped with:
- Automatically adjust the contact angle
- Automatic power cut after 1 second
Please read the installation manual carefully. This is (unfortunately) only available in English. The manual contains further information on ignition timing and advance curves (often on the last page), as well as the specifications of the 123 ignition. The installation procedure to be followed for the 123 ignition system is also described step by step.
NB: Used ignition coils are often no longer in good condition. It is not possible to determine how often an ignition coil has been exposed to overheating in the past. If you purchase a new ignition coil at the same time as you purchase your 123ignition, you can be sure that this ignition coil will no longer overheat. We recommend the 123 Blue Coil.
