123/TUNE-4-A-V-D, replaces distributors in Alfa (USB version)

123/TUNE the USB programmable electronic 123ignition

You can easily setup the 123/TUNE to fulfill even the most demanding requirements.
The unit offers two sets of curves that can be selected by placing power on the yellow wire from the 123/TUNE. By using this function you will be able to switch between two pre-programmed curves without having to use a computer. Particularly apt when you are (also) driving on LPG.
Model "D" for Ducellier distributors
The "D" model will replace most Ducellier distributors, for example used in Alfa, Citroën and Peugeot (please check dimensions before ordering). The 123/TUNE-4-A-V-D for 4 cylinders comes with an angled cap.

- Temperature gauge (selectable in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit)
- Manifold pressure (selectable in Bar or inches Hg/Psi)
- Tachometer (0 to 8000 rpm crankshaft)
- Spark-energy gauge (primary coil current)
- Total-advance gauge (in degrees crankshaft)
Installation manual 123/TUNE
We strongly advise you to check the dimensions of the 123/TUNE with the original distributor cap AND to carefully read the installation manual before you order! In the installation manual you'll find more information and a few examples with a step by step explanation on how to install and program the 123/TUNE.

The minimum system requirements for the 123-tune software are:

Please note: the 123/TUNE will be delivered WITHOUT shielded USB-cable. The manufacturer advises you to use a Belkin cable of course you can also order this here. Below you’ll find a picture from the cable at ‘Accessories’ and you can easily add it to your cart.
In the same way you can easily order a new coil. Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never overheat again in the future. We recommend the 123 Red Coil.

Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 Veloce
Good support by Leen, only deviated from his advice to buy the Tune+ (Bluetooth) instead of the Tune (USB) for my Alfa Romeo Spider (1979), as I simply don't want Bluetooth in this car. Also bought the special USB cable, Bosch Blue coil and ordered with a straight head instead the 90 degrees head, in order to be the same as the original distributor.
Type I bought was 123/Tune-4-A-V-D. Easy set-up and installation. Perfect fit and looks close to original, just a little smaller. My car does not has vacuum advancing and therefore deleted the vacuum curve. Is not really necessary as vacuum input on the 123 is not connected. Motor started immediately and runs much smoother and shows better power already. Original mechanical advance system had after 40 years quit some wear and tear and now with this very well made system have a maintenance free system and possibility to fine tune the advance very easy. In the Origional Owners Manual the info onthe advance curves shows 7 +/- 1 degrees at 800/900 RPM for static advance (F Mark on pully) and max.advance of 38 +0/-3 degrees at 5100 RPM (M mark). Planning in the next weeks to check some different advance curves and once find what I think runs best take off the USB cable and mount the plug and leave it do its job.
