123/TUNE+ 4-R-V-G (bluetooth), replaces Lucas distributors
Tuning your engine using your own tablet or smartphone? The TUNE+ is the first wireless electronic ignition that you can program yourself using your iOS or Android Bluetooth 4.0 devices. The free app enables you to adjust the advance curve. It shows an electronic dashboard. Within the settings there is also an immobilizer integrated to secure your car with a state-of-the-art anti-theft system!

123/TUNE+ programming wireless
After installing the free app and making the Bluetooth connection you can enter the values: at which RPM do you need how many degrees crankshaft? In this way you will easily program your ideal advance curve with your smartphone or tablet.
The app enables you to adjust the advance curve, it shows an electronic dashboard and within the settings there is also an immobilizer integrated to secure your car with a state-of-the-art anti-theft system!

Please note before ordering the TUNE+
We strongly advise you to check the dimensions of the 123/TUNE+ with the original distributor cap AND to carefully read the installation manual before you order! In the installation manual you will find more information and a few examples with a step by step explanation on how to install and program the 123/TUNE+.
The TUNE+ will run on all iOS and Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (or higher).
Coil and spark plugs
Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never overheat again in the future. Of course you can also easily order this here, we recommend the 123 Blue Coil.

I have a Volvo 240, with b230 engine, I decided to change the old distributor, because it has contact breaker, and capacitor, it works good, but I wanted to upgrade to a electronic one, so I ordered, one with Bluetooth, it arrive fast, well shipped, to Ecuador, in South America, once received, I proced with instalation, have some issues with the installation, but I receive immediately support, the car runs 30% faster and better than before, I have installed 2 weber 50, and I think is the perfect combination to obtain better performance. I suggest, to change the ignition coil, too, in order to have better rpm.
I download the application from android and have all valuable information from the distributor. The option to secure the engine is very useful, for unauthorized people. I recomend this product.
Excellent product! 1972 MGB
I bought the Tune+ to replace the old standard Lucas distributor on my 1972 standard 1800 RHD MGB. I decided for an angled cap instead of the original straight cap as I have a RHD car and this version gives me more clearance between the distributor and the steering column.
Installation is very simple and the manual attached is brief and easy to understand. The distributor itself fits beautifully.
Just set ignition and basic curve to match the old distributor and the engine started right up. Leen is very helpful if you have questions on finding the correct advance curve for your old dizzy. The app is self explanatory and allows you to do a road tuning starting on the standard curve. The engine runs very smooth and has a quite more power now.
All in all a very good product. Shipping was very quick and the distributor was well packed against poor handling.
Great Product, easy installation
The product fit perfectly and replaces the Lucas distributor o my 1961 Triumph TR3A - positive earth.
The installation manual is very brief but sufficient. There is a more comprehensive one for download al limora.com...
The engine started immediately after installation with the default curves installed.
You need to install an app to adapt the advance curves - unfortunately, the app is not completely self explanatory.

Gday Johannes E. Just read your review and it sounds like you like 123's like me. On your iphone, there is definately a setting to make it stay on. I changed it in mine, not only for this but originally for hiking with offline Gps. The 8000 rpm tacho in my case is abit short, my new mini engine build, 9-10000 would be more useful. An option of tacho range would be perfect! So the rev limiter I can't use either. I'll need an external one. Still an amazing quality distributor!
Quick & easy
I bought this version to replace my "standard" 123 (from ca. 2007), which was still doing its work without trouble (it went into the boot as spare now).
Why?
1) I wanted to use a better fitting curve for my engine (TR- 4cyl.), the predefined curves of the standard version can be improved to give more torque at low rpm.
2) The integrated immobiliser is a nice add-on to prevent theft/ unauthorised usage of the car.
- Installation was as simple as before
- it came with a default curve, that allow the engine to start & run
- using the app (iOS) it is extremly simple to change the curves incl. a curve for the vacuum advance
- the dashboard is a bit small due to the size of my smartphone
Some ideas for improvement:
- Adjust the range of the rev counter: (8000 ist to much, my engine has max. power at 4800). Idea: Use the rev limit as maximum range for the rev counter
- with the actual iOS the phone switches of after max. 5 minutes - iOS doesn't allow to prevent this. An option to keep the phone on during driving would be nice
- On a small display it could be easier to read to display the small dials as numbers. Especially when driving with sunglasses the red pointer on black background is almost impossible to see.
But to be honest: You play around with it a bit and once a setup for the car is found there is no necessity to look at this display: This app is necessary only to lock/ unlock the ignition if the immobiliser ist used.
In my eyes: A really good improvement over the older versions ! ! !
