123/TUNE+ 6-R-V-V6-Essex (bluetooth), replaces distributors in Ford V6 Essex engines

After installing the free app and making the Bluetooth connection you can enter the values: at which RPM do you need how many degrees crankshaft? In this way you will easily program your ideal advance curve with your smartphone or tablet.

The app enables you to adjust the advance curve, it shows an electronic dashboard and within the settings there is also an immobilizer integrated to secure your car with a state-of-the-art anti-theft system!

Model "V6-Essex" for Ford V6 engines

The "V6-Essex" model will replace most distributors as used by Ford in the Ford Essex V6 engine in for example:
Ford Capri Mk1/Mk2/Mk3 3.0 V6 1969-1981
Ford Granada Mk1 2.5/3.0 V6 1972-1977
Ford Transit Mk2 3.0 V6 1978-1986
Ford Zephyr Mk4 2.5 V6 1966-1972
Ford Zodiac Mk4 3.0 V6 1966-1972

Please check the dimensions before ordering, which in this case is especially important since in the above mentioned types of cars Ford sometimes used a V6 Cologne engine. For the V6 Cologne engine another type of 123ignition needs to be ordered (the distributor in the Essex engine is 20 mm longer and has a different cogwheel). The most easily visible difference between the V6 Essex and the V6 Cologne engine is in the placing of the distributor: with the Essex engine this is upfront and with the Cologne engine this is in the back.
PLEASE NOTE: you'll need to remove the cogwheel of your original distributor to re-use this and mount it on the 123 ignition.
The 123/TUNE+ 6-R-V-V6-Essex for 6 cylinders comes with an upright cap and without cogwheel.

We strongly advise you to check the dimensions of the 123/TUNE+ with the original distributor cap AND to carefully read the installation manual before you order! In the installation manual you will find more information and a few examples with a step by step explanation on how to install and program the 123/TUNE+.

PLEASE NOTE: you'll need to remove the cogwheel of your original distributor to re-use this and mount it on the 123 ignition, since the 123 ignition will be delivered WITHOUT the cogwheel needed (the picture you'll see is just an example of the re-used cogwheel already mounted).

The TUNE+ will run on all iOS and Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (or higher).

Coil and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never overheat again in the future. Of course you can also easily order this here, we recommend the 123 Red Coil.
