123/TUNE+ programming wireless

After installing the free app and making the Bluetooth connection you can enter the values: at which RPM do you need how many degrees crankshaft? In this way you will easily program your ideal advance curve with your smartphone or tablet.

The app enables you to adjust the advance curve, it shows an electronic dashboard and within the settings there is also an immobilizer integrated to secure your car with a state-of-the-art anti-theft system!

Model "V" for Bosch distributors

The "V" model will replace most Bosch distributors, for example used in VW, Volvo and the Alfa 33 (please check dimensions before ordering).

- Temperature gauge (selectable in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit)
- Manifold pressure (selectable in Bar or inches Hg/Psi)
- Tachometer (0 to 8000 rpm crankshaft)
- Spark-energy gauge (primary coil current)
- Total-advance gauge (in degrees crankshaft)
- Battery voltage
- GPS speed

Please note before ordering the TUNE+

We strongly advise you to check the dimensions of the 123/TUNE+ with the original distributor cap AND to carefully read the installation manual before you order! In the installation manual you will find more information and a few examples with a step by step explanation on how to install and program the 123/TUNE+.

The TUNE+ will run on all iOS and Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (or higher).

Coil and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never overheat again in the future. Of course you can also easily order this here, we recommend the 123 Red Coil.

Perhaps you will also need new spark plugs? At 123ignitionshop we have added the spark plugs most commonly used in addition to the 123ignitions we offer. See: the spark plugs list.

Worked a dream on my classic Beetle

Very happy with this distributor, put it into my bug and it fired up perfectly - first time! Love using the app and being able to adjust the timing on the fly.

1776 VW Camper.

Purchased a 123 Tune to replace an imitation 009.

Took me a couple of goes to get cylinder 1 lined up, but once in the right spot, fired up no problems.

I have been playing with the curves and am see a vast improvement in acceleration and smooth running. It's also fun!

The mpg is hugely improved! Well worth the money.

123/Tune for Glas 1300 GT

The original distributor of the Glas 1300 GT had to be replaced and on the advice of a friend opted for 123Ignition. The distributor proposed by Leen was ordered and this was delivered within three days. The installation is fairly simple but you have to get a good overview of the different settings. The use of the static advance and when the vacuum advance must be used. For a proffesional maybe not a problem but as a hobbyist that is not so obvious. In the end, I adjusted the installation slightly by giving the distributor a mechanical pre-ignition. Now the distributor works very well. Hopefully this is for many years.
All together: a good product and good service.

Stable and reliable

I have installed the TUNE+ in two different cars. Both VW. Works reliable. Good additional theft protection, as the ignition can be disabled via smartphone app.
Overall rating 4 stars as the manual is poor and the software functions could be enhanced. No reaction to proposals which I have made to the manufacturer earlier. But the system does what it is meant for.
