123/B18-B20-R-V-IE distributor for Volvo PV544, Duett, P1800, Amazon, 140, 200 and C202

The 123/B18-B20-R-V-IE for Volvo PV544, Duett, P1800, Amazon, 140, 200 and C202 is designed for the Volvo B18 and B20 engines with a Bosch D-jetronic injection system (a D-jetronic has 2 extra contact points for controlling the injection). This 123ignition is not only for classic cars as the Amazone, P1800 etc. but also for trucks and boats, Volvo Penta.
It has advance-curves for B18-A (VALP), B18-B, B20-A, B20-B, B20-D, B20-E, B20-F, B18-Penta & B20-Penta engines.

Features of the 123/B18-B20-R-V-IE electronic ignition

The unit offers, next to special curves for different engines, optimized LPG / Ethanol-curves for B20-A en B20-E engines. With a switch you can easily choose the advance-curve that is specified for your specific engine. The unit offers a built-in LED for easy static timing and several different advance-curves.

It also offers:
- Vacuum advance
- Automatic dwell
- Spark balancing
- Automatic power-cut after 1 second
- Gear shift retard

Please note about the 123/B18-B20-R-V-IE 123ignition

For engines without electronic fuel injection (or with a mechanical driven fuel injection) a 123/B18-B20-R-V is available.

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information on the motor- and distributor numbers, static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.

Coil and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend the 123 Blue Coil.
