Hello
I have 123ignition on a Citroen DS. It started to misfire quite often. I realized that the voltage regulator was working improperly and sent too high voltage to the coil and ignition. I replaced the voltage regulator but the misfiring still happens. Is it possible that high voltage damaged the ignition?
The coil resistance is measured as new.
Hello,
it is possible that the broken regulator damaged the 123 ignition. When you remove the alternator belt. Does the problem then still occur?
